About Pete Moffett Productions, Inc

The Friends of the Fireworks 3rd Annual Seaside Lagoon Independence Day Celebration is the result of a partnership between the City of Redondo Beach and Pete Moffett Productions, Inc. The partnership was agreed to in February 2007 with two distinct goals in mind:

  • To create a focal point and setting where locals can celebrate the 4th of July and their community with family, friends and neighbors and,
  • To create a private sector sponsor based funding source that will relieve the City of the cost of the fireworks show.

All participants at the Friends of the Fireworks 3rd Annual Seaside Lagoon Independence Day Celebration will be sponsors and enjoy the unique, highly enjoyable benefits of the event. In addition to corporate sponsors local non-profits and individuals will be encouraged to sponsor a picnic table in the lagoon or Seats on the Sand if they prefer to bring their own beach chairs and blankets.

Proceeds from the Friends of the Fireworks 3rd Annual Seaside Lagoon Independence Day Celebration will help pay for the fireworks show enjoyed throughout the City and South Bay.

Pete Moffett Productions, Inc. was founded in 2007 for the purpose of working with cities interested in pursuing goals similar to those of Redondo Beach stated above. Mr. Moffett has been working in a similar capacity in Manhattan Beach for the past twenty years as the founder and organizer of the Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks, an event recently recognized by The Beach Reporter as “The Beach Cities Best Community Event.”
 

Pete Moffett Productions, Inc Disclaimer and limitation of liability: Sponsorship sales are final. No refunds or exchanges for any reason. Admission does not include food or beverage. Meals are prepared by and are the sole responsibility of independent vendors and not Pete Moffett Productions, Inc. All water sports are the sole responsibility of an independent provider. Be prepared to shield eyes, person and belongings should fallout from the fireworks be blown into the lagoon. Must be 21 years of age or older and properly wrist banded to consume alcohol. You may not bring alcohol into the Festival site. Adults consuming alcohol are not allowed to swim. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. All food and beverage items must be purchased at the Lagoon Party. Picnic baskets and off-site and food and beverage items are not permitted. Acts, prices and hours subject to change. An adult must accompany minors under the age of 16 after 8:00 p.m. Commercial activities and solicitations are prohibited without permission of Pete Moffett Productions, Inc..

DURING THE FIREWORKS DISPLAY, A SHIFT IN THE WIND MAY CAUSE PARTICLES TO BE BLOWN INTO THE VIEWING AREA
